As a research analyst intern, you will be responsible for conducting industry analysis on competitive benchmarking projects and creating high-quality research reports on specified industry sectors.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify and analyze trends and forecasts in the relevant industry, and recommend improvements to business processes.
2. Research market trends and analyze data to identify patterns and potential challenges for improvements.
3. Conduct comprehensive market and industry research to incorporate into pitch books.
4. Possess knowledge of statistics.
5. Conduct customer-specific research, including strategy and operations.
6. Develop customer and market benchmarks.
7. Compile accurate and thorough reports measuring research output and its impact on deal success.
8. Demonstrate the aptitude to work in a variable business environment, including tight deadlines and aggressive turnaround times.
Requirements:
1. Post-graduate degree in biotechnology, microbiology, or fisheries.
2. Experience in conducting industry analysis and competitive benchmarking projects.
3. Experience in business report writing.
4. Knowledge of data modeling and data interpretation is preferred.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Attention to detail.
8. Ability to manipulate complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports.
9. Research-oriented with excellent writing skills.
