Research Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct focus group discussions and key informant interviews with local community members, leaders, and experts to gather insights and opinions on conservation challenges and strategies. Plan and organize these activities effectively.
2. Support behavior research by creating research toolkits and efficiently managing fieldwork operations as required.
3. Have experience conducting daily secondary research on related subjects.
4. Assist in designing and implementing community-based conservation programs that meet the needs and aspirations of local communities.
5. Contribute to the development of educational materials, workshops, and outreach events.
6. Participate in field visits to remote communities to facilitate engagement, data collection, and community-based activities.
7. Some experience in wildlife conservation and/or Natural Resource Management (NRM) projects with a focus on behavior research will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

1. Degree or ongoing studies in wildlife science, conservation biology, community development, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in engaging with communities and stakeholders, preferably in a conservation or research context.
3. Experience in creating research reports and presentations will be an added advantage.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate group discussions and conduct interviews. Familiarity with wildlife conservation issues and challenges in the Delhi/NCR regions.
5. Flexibility to travel to ministry areas for fieldwork and engagement activities (as and when required).
6. Residents from / living near Delhi/NCR will be preferred.
