About the internship
Meraki by Deepa is a dynamic & growing startup specializing in crafting exclusive, hand-painted silk apparel & accessories. We're looking for a creative & motivated individual to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone eager to grow with us & dive deep into the world of fashion, art & digital storytelling.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create engaging and visually appealing content, including images, videos, and graphics, tailored to each social media platform. Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
2. Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve business goals. Understand how to leverage different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to reach specific audiences.
3. Cultivate strong connections with followers by engaging with them through comments, messages, and interactive content.
4. Monitor social media metrics and provide insights on what's working and what can be improved. Use data to form content strategies and campaigns.
5. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms. Bring fresh ideas to help us stay ahead in the digital space, particularly in fashion.
6. Utilize strong writing skills to craft compelling and concise captions, posts, and stories. Adapt tone and style to fit the brand voice and target audience.
7. Knowledge of social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
8. Understand SEO principles and their application to social media content. Have experience with search engine marketing and its integration with social media strategies.
9. Handle negative comments and social media crises with professionalism and tact. Develop and implement crisis communication plans.

6. A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for storytelling.
