Survey Research Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. On-Site Surveying:
a. Conduct in-person surveys and interviews with cargo vehicle drivers in the assigned city.
b. Travel to various locations within the city to ensure a diverse and representative sample.
c. Adhere to a structured survey protocol while maintaining flexibility for organic conversations.

2. Data Collection, Handling, Sensitivity:
a. Use statistical tools and methods to analyze quantitative data and extract meaningful insights.
b. Collate and organize data gathered from on-site surveys and interviews.
c. Prepare and share a comprehensive summary report with the management, providing input for strategic decision-making.
d. Safeguard participant confidentiality and privacy during data collection and storage. Handle survey responses with the utmost sensitivity.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
a. Build positive relationships with the participating drivers, laying the groundwork for potential follow-up interviews and deeper engagement.
b. Foster an open and trusting environment to encourage honest responses.
c. Address any concerns or questions raised by participants during the survey process.
d. Verbal fluency in the regional language is mandatory.

4. Survey Logistics:
a. Coordinate logistical aspects of the survey, including scheduling survey sessions at optimal times for participant availability.
b. Manage equipment and materials required for the survey, ensuring smooth operations during on-site visits.
