About the internship

As a telecalling (inside sales) intern at Oben Electric Vehicles Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to showcase your Hindi and English proficiency skills in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your role will involve interacting with potential customers over the phone, providing them with information about our electric vehicles, and addressing any inquiries they may have.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce them to our products and services
2. Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in MS-Excel
4. Collaborate with the sales team to schedule appointments for product demos and test drives
5. Follow up with customers to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction
6. Assist in organizing and conducting telecalling campaigns to promote our products
7. Improve your communication skills and product knowledge to better serve our customers
8. Contact potential customers via telephone and email to promote our products and services
9. Explain the features and benefits of our products and services to prospective customers
10. Answer questions about products, services, and pricing
11. Maintain customer records by updating account information regularly
12. Follow up with potential customers to close sales and achieve targets
13. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure quotas are met
14. Stay informed about competing products and services and industry trends
15. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and provide appropriate solutions

Other requirements

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic telecaller to join our inside sales team. As a telecaller, you will be responsible for contacting potential customers, handling their inquiries, and guiding them through the sales process via telephone and online meetings. Your goal will be to meet sales targets, maintain positive relationships with clients, and ensure proper after-sales service.

1. Proven experience as a telecaller or in a similar sales/customer service role.

2. Proficient in relevant computer applications (e.g., CRM software, MS Office).

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent.

5. Knowledge of sales principles and methods.

6. Multilingual skills (if applicable) may be an advantage.

7. High school diploma; additional qualifications in sales or marketing will be a plus.
