About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create various visual effects elements such as explosions, fire, smoke, water simulations, creatures, and digital environments
Integrate elements seamlessly through compositing, matching color, lighting, and perspective
2. Perform rotoscoping and matte extraction tasks to isolate objects or characters from live-action footage
3. Track camera and object movements within live-action footage for accurate integration of CG elements
4. Generate particle systems and dynamic simulations for effects like explosions, debris, or fluid dynamics
5. Develop and apply textures and shaders to CG elements for realism
6. Regularly review work to ensure it meets quality standards and matches the creative vision
7. Collaborate with supervisors, animators, modelers, and lighting artists
8. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software
9. Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges and limitations

Additional information
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 3000 per design).
