We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer Intern with a focus on WordPress to join our dynamic team. This internship offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in web development, design, and maintenance of websites. You will work closely with our developers and designers to create engaging, user-friendly websites.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating WordPress websites.
2) Collaborate with the design team to implement website layouts and features.
3) Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
4) Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
5) Conduct testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience.
6) Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance website functionality and user engagement.
7) Help manage website content, including blog posts, images, and other media.
Qualifications:
1) Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
2) Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
3) Familiarity with WordPress and its themes/plugins.
4) Basic understanding of PHP is a plus.
5) Knowledge of responsive design principles.
6)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8) A portfolio or examples of previous web projects (school projects, personal websites, etc.) is a plus.
