As a Flutter development intern at Persist Ventures, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge mobile app projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. We are looking for a talented individual who is proficient in Flutter, REST API, Dart, Firebase, Android, and iOS development.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Implement responsive and visually appealing UI components for the app, ensuring consistency across devices
2. Integrate in-house APIs to handle video feeds, user data, and other app functionalities
3. Develop and optimize video feed features, including streaming, caching, and playback, while ensuring a smooth user experience
4. Identify and fix bugs in the app, ensuring a seamless user experience
5. Follow best practices in Flutter development to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
6. Monitor and optimize app performance, particularly in loading and rendering video content

1. Familiarity with the Flutter framework and the Dart programming language.
2. Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
3. Basic understanding of state management approaches like Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc.
4. Knowledge of video processing and playback in mobile apps.
5. Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement responsive designs.
6. Experience with Firebase services, such as Firestore, authentication, and cloud functions.
7. Awareness of real-time data handling and WebSocket integration.
8. Problem-solving mindset and ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
9. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
10. A basic understanding of Git and version control practices.
11. Prior experience with social media or video-based applications is a plus.
12. Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced development environment.
