We are seeking a dedicated 'International Business Development Intern' to join our team. This role is essential for Codematics as we expand our global footprint and explore new international markets. The successful candidate will support the development of business strategies, engage with potential clients, and contribute to the overall growth of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in international business development and marketing.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and international markets.
2. Assist in developing and executing business strategies to penetrate new markets.
3. Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and reports for potential international clients.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create content tailored for different international markets.
5. Engage in networking activities and build relationships with potential international clients and partners.
6. Monitor industry trends, competitors, and potential risks to inform business strategies.
7. Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with international clients.
8. Additional responsibility: Assist in organizing and participating in international trade shows, conferences, and other business development events.
9. Additional responsibility: Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate information on international prospects.

Required skills and qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international relations, marketing, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree in these areas).
2. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with international clients.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Additional skills: Multilingual proficiency, particularly in languages relevant to our target markets.
7. Additional skills: Understanding of global business cultures and practices.
Preferred skills and qualifications (optional):
1. Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in an international context.
2. Familiarity with international trade regulations and export-import processes.
3. Experience using market research tools and analytics platforms.
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 8000 per sale).
