About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate
2. Database Integration: Develop and maintain database schemas and queries using Hibernate for efficient data access and manipulation
3. API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between different components of the application
4. Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
5. Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure the reliability and scalability of applications
6. Documentation: Document code, technical specifications, and architectural designs to facilitate team collaboration and future maintenance
7. Unit Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of software components
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, software architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality software solutions within defined timelines
9. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems

Other requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

2. Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and Hibernate

3. Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles

4. Experience with RESTful API development and web services

5. Knowledge of database design and SQL, with expertise in Hibernate for database integration

6. Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile methodologies

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team

8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
