Smollan is looking for a Python/ML engineer intern(s) within the device and services (hardware products) business unit of Google (client). The candidate must have good communication and technical skills.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Build and maintain Python code
2. Build code in PyTorch (deep learning) using the Spacy and Hugging Face NLP libraries
3. Assist in additional ad hoc data collection, cleaning, wrangling, data analysis, and audit tasks
4. Work on process documentation and knowledge management

1. Intermediate knowledge of Python with familiarity with OOPs concept and libraries like pandas, NumPy, Regex, etc.
2. Intermediate knowledge of PyTorch with experience in NLP.
3. Knowledge of the common NLP libraries like Spacy, NLtk, Gensim, Hugging Face, and models like BERT, Roberta, etc.
4. Familiarity with Selenium-Python would be considered as an additional bonus.
5. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JS would be considered as an additional bonus.
