We are creating online cookery courses for French, Italian, Spanish, and Indian cooking. The job is one of a food editor. You will be given priority if you have studied the culinary arts, food journalism, or journalism/mass media. You will need to complete a short writing exercise in educational content creation if shortlisted.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Creating verbal content for our cooking courses in French, Italian, Spanish, and Indian cooking using raw content; this will include quizzes, summary sections, and recipes
2. Uploading content onto our systems
3. Checking and proofreading quizzes, recipes, etc.
4. Providing a quick daily update (1 or 2) or as and when required
Ideal candidate skills:
1. You must be able to go through a lot of recipes and food-related content and create educational material
2. This will require you to be very analytical and think like a cook or a student of the culinary arts
3. You must be very articulate, yet succinct
4. You have to be very organized with the content you create and be able to maintain a steady tone in all your work
5. You should have a background or a strong interest in the culinary arts
The job will need you to work 5 hours a day, 6 days a week as an estimate. The work is deliverable-based, however, you will be required to provide an update every day.
