Fashion Design Work From Home Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design conceptualization: Assisting in generating original ideas and concepts for women's and men's wear collections that align with our brand identity and target market. Brainstorming creative themes, silhouettes, colors, and patterns for seasonal collections.
2. Sketching and digital design: Creating sketches, drawings, and digital designs to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively. Utilizing design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to develop detailed technical drawings and renderings.
3. Fabric and material selection: Researching and sourcing fabrics, materials, trims, and accessories that are on-trend, high-quality, and cost-effective. Assisting in building relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
4. Prototype development: Assisting in developing prototypes and samples of designs, including pattern making, draping, and sewing. Collaborating with pattern makers, sample makers, and seamstresses to refine designs and address any fit or construction issues.
5. Trend research: Staying informed about current fashion trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings. Analyzing market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging styles to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
6. Assistance in production: Supporting the production process by assisting with fabric cutting, garment assembly, and quality control checks. Ensuring that designs meet quality standards, specifications, and production timelines.
7. Collaboration and communication: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and production to ensure alignment with brand objectives and strategies. Communicating design concepts, ideas, and updates clearly and professionally.
