Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a user research intern. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting user research to inform product development and design decisions.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in planning, designing, and conducting user research studies
2. Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights into user needs and preferences
3. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, patterns, and user pain points
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to integrate user feedback into product development processes
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user research methodologies

1. Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
2. A strong interest in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
5. Proficiency in conducting user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests is a plus.
6. Familiarity with tools such as Qualtrics, UserZoom, or UsabilityHub is a plus.
Duration: This is a 1-month internship position with the possibility of extension based on the candidate's performance and business needs.
