About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in designing, coding, and modifying WordPress websites from layout to functionality, according to client requirements.
2. Create custom themes and plugins using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
3. Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth navigation.
4. Implement security and backup protocols to safeguard the websites.
5. Work closely with the design team to implement custom layouts and design elements.
6. Assist in the creation of responsive designs, ensuring that websites function properly on all devices (desktop, mobile, and tablet).
7. Ensure consistency in branding and design across various client projects.
8. Update and manage content, images, and multimedia elements on WordPress websites.
9. Collaborate with content creators to ensure that the design complements the written content.
10. Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and glitches within WordPress websites.
11. Test and troubleshoot WordPress plugins, ensuring compatibility with themes and other site elements.
12. Implement basic on-page SEO practices, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and URLs.
13. Work on improving the overall site speed by optimizing images and code.
14. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their project requirements and deliver accordingly.
15. Assist in preparing progress reports and presentations to update clients on their project status.
16. Stay updated on the latest WordPress design and web development trends.
17. Attend team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your skills.
