Ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processing.
Handling accounts and resolving any billing-related issues or discrepancies.
Coordinate with sales teams and clients to address billing inquiries.
Utilise accounting software for efficient billing management.
Implement and maintain billing policies and procedures.
Stay updated on GST and taxation regulations affecting billing processes.
Provide training and support to team members on accounting software usage.
Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile accounts and manage financial data.
Review billing staff work to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve the goals.
Operating as the lead point of contact for any matters specific to your accounts.
It is ensuring invoicing accuracy for the company and its customers.
Send invoices and account updates to the concerned person electronically and on paper.
The billing manager must be available on call during out-of-duty hours for port staff and billing staff working the night shift.
