1. Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports by relevant accounting standards
2. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
3. Ensure that all statutory requirements/compliances of the organization are met (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax, TDS, etc.)
4. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor
5. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
6. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
7. Reconcile bank and investment accounts; and manage cash flow
8. Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to the budget
9. Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts by policy
10. Manage the bookkeeping function, using Tally (there will be a team of accountants supporting you), including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
11. Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure
