Accountant Job

Key responsibilities:

A. Financial Reporting:
1. Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in financial reporting.

B. General Ledger Management:
1. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

C. Budgeting and Forecasting:
1. Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
2. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
4. Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
5. Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

D. Tax Compliance:
1. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on their impact.

E. Internal Controls:
1. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
2. Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies.
