5. Draft and review terms and conditions for various business agreements, ensuring they are legally sound and meet company standards.
6. Develop and monitor budgets, providing financial forecasts and variance analysis to management.
7. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax returns, and liaising with tax authorities as needed.
8. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, identifying trends and providing recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
9. Stay updated with financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function and implement best practices.
11. Manage financial transactions related to client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment processing.
12. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm.
13. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing clients and paying vendors.
14. Manage the firm's payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
15. Prepare returns including income tax and GST returns.
16. Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to provide insights on the financial health of the firm.
17. Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
18. Monitor the firm's cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet financial obligations.
19. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
20. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
21. Assist with other duties as assigned.
