A. Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering
2. 12+ years of in-depth experience in x86 architecture and hardware design
3. Knowledge and design experience of DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C along with high-speed PCB design and signal integrity
4. Experience with EDA schematic design tools for PCB schematic creation supporting physical/layout design activity, hardware bring-up, and validation
5. Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex hardware issues
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills for tasks including customer engagements, architecture design/feedback, and executive updates
7. Ability to work effectively in both team environments and self-directed settings
8. Passion for learning new technologies and skills
B. Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree
2. Previous experience in high-speed board design, signal integrity, FPGA code development and validation, DC power circuit design, and/or PCIe bus design, simulation, and validation
3. Previous experience in server design
4. Proficiency in Linux/Windows operating systems
5. Experience in OS virtualization
6. Strong proficiency in Shell Scripting (BASH, Perl, Python, and Windows PowerShell)
7. Successful hardware design execution on projects with engineering team members located in multiple geographies
8. Business acumen to engage with various functional teams required to take projects from concept to production
