Agriculture & Food Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Daily work:
- Monitor field performance and improve digital solutions on an ongoing basis on various customer premises.
- Field visits for validation of solution accuracy.
- Identifying new insights from the data.
- Guide the data analytics team on opportunities to improve accuracy.

2. Customer-centric engagement approach:
- Working with the customers to demonstrate the accuracy.
- Explaining to customers the insights derived from the solution.
- Engaging with farmers for training on new developments /updates.
- Developing positive and trustworthy relations with customers.

3. New projects:
- Implementation of new projects in the field
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the implemented solutions
- Conducting design of experiments for the new solution
- Tracking the performance
- Validating the improvement of the solutions

4. Troubleshooting and improvements:
- Media with service team & data team to support troubleshooting interventions in the field.
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Execute improvement actions
- Monitoring the effectiveness of improvement

5. Routine field monitoring and validation
- Carrying out routine data validation exercises at customer premises providing structured data in specified formats to the backend team providing support in all field validation exercises and trials as required by the data analysis team.

6. Knowledge assimilation
- Plan and gather knowledge on best practices in cattle farming and dairy management.

7. Data Collection
- Develop a database of Veterinary doctors, medicine shops, feed partners, and vaccination agencies in the geographical area of the presence

8. Business retention
- Demonstrate the effectiveness of our Cattle health Monitoring IoT solution in improving cattle health, improving milk quality and yield, and improving reproduction.
