About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Provide support for incoming tickets including extensive troubleshooting tasks, covering multiple products, features, and services
2. Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects primarily in Perl, Shell Scripts, and web technologies with the potential for Java-based projects
3. Provide software deployment support in staging and production environments
4. Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
5. Generate system and support status reports
6. Take ownership of one or more digital products or components
7. Coordinate customer notification, workflow, and follow up to maintain service level agreements
8. Collaborate with the support team for handing off or taking over active support issues and create team-specific knowledge base and skill sets

A. Basic Qualifications:

B. Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development

2. Experience scripting in one or more languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby)

3. Experience with REST web services, XML, and JSON
