Area sales manager will be responsible for establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers (Mechatronics Sales such as shaft, bearings, gearboxes, rack n pinions, Guideways experience will have added advantages)
Understanding Customers Requirements and ensures that the service has been delivered accordingly
Responsible for driving sales in particular territory
Looking for channel partner for business development and maintaining good rapport with them
Training them to handle CRM Software for Adding follow-ups and seeing quotations
Coordinating with Sales engineers about their new potential customers and merging them then to increase potential regularly in CRM software on daily basis.
Responsible for achieving their target as well as their team member target
ASM will be responsible for their respective team members' Targets, Training need, Performance, Motivation, Visits, Closing the deals
ASM will keep tab on his members for each and every work given and get it done on a timely basis.
ASM is answerable to the management for his respective sales engineers' visits, underperformance, meeting deadlines.
ASM will be responsible to educate and train the distributors or channel partners on new products/technology by conducting meetings with our Technical Person
ASM will be responsible for analyzing training need for the distributors and their Engineers and scheduling the training program with the help of HR
After Every Exhibition ASM needs to convert the Exhibition directories into Excel sheet and send it to the distributor and has to do the regular follow-ups with the customers

Required Qualification: BE/B.Tech /Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
