Assistant Manager Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare schematic drawings and basic designs for all piping systems
2. Determine pipe size, tank size, and material selection for system drawings, and prepare the system Bill of Materials (BoM)
3. Understand class rules and design the systems accordingly
4. Size system equipment, prepare Scope of Technical Requirements (SOTR), evaluate offers, create Product BoM (PBOM), and manage data in the Product Data Management (PDM) system
5. Collaborate with seniors to validate design work and update weight sheets
6. Perform 3D modeling in CADMATIC, prepare spool drawings, layout drawings, and support drawings
7. Conduct site visits and interact with class and customer representatives
8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as hull, electrical design, QC, and production to resolve production queries and ensure proper documentation for handover to the customer
9. Perform pipe flow analysis using AFT Fathom
10. Respond to tenders and prepare bid documents including write-ups, system schematics, estimations, and BoM
