Key Responsibilities:

1. Typical Day: Your typical day would be building data models and APIs that would be consumed by frontend engineers
2. Teamwork: Your success is directly proportional to how well you collaborate with your frontend partner; we'd expect you to be proactive and communicate well over slack and calls
3. Problem Solving: You'll be solving hard problems in architecture and integrations that enable the business

Experience and Qualifications:

1. 1+ years experience in building backend applications

2. Experience in working in Ruby on Rails/Python frameworks/Node frameworks

3. Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to break down complicated problems into smaller, simpler problems

4. Strong in System Design: Have built applications from scratch, from designing to modeling

5. Excellent skills in SQL and databases

6. Great Product Understanding: Able to brainstorm how certain features should be built for the product (bonus)

7. Should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment with high ownership in an early-stage setup
