Associate Chartered Accountant (CA) Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including maintaining accurate books of accounts
2. Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions (e.g., premiums, claims, commissions)
3. Reconcile bank accounts, client accounts, and insurance company ledgers
4. Manage invoicing and collection of premiums from clients
5. Ensure timely payment of commissions to agents and brokers
6. Handle vendor payments and other operational expenses
7. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and regulatory purposes
8. Compile financial data to support statutory audits and internal financial reviews
9. Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts
10. Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis reports to senior management
11. Ensure compliance with insurance accounting regulations, standards, and best practices (IFRS, GAAP)
12. Stay updated with financial policies and procedures affecting insurance brokerage
