This role requires experience working in the areas of pesticide/agrochemical, biopesticides, and customized agrochemical formulation development and the abilty to work in the formulation lab. The main focus of this will be on formulations, and analysis of production batch work out.
Key responsibilities:
1. Formulate, and generate scientific/technical data under supervision, using established systems, procedures, and protocols.
2. Identify practical problems and work with the supervisor to solve them.
3. Be involved in developing new product formulations for CIB - product with a focus on the development of formulations involving technical formulations.
4. Take the lead on the development and optimization of formulations, product development, formulating scientific data, and developing analysis methods including complete responsibility of manufacturing unit QA/QC Lab/Department.
5. Provide other individuals with instructions and guidance to complete tasks, which have been assigned.
6. Carry out the timely preparation of formulations at all scales to provide samples for testing within formulation development or at external functions.
7. Carry out physicochemical characterization testing, and quantitative chemical analyses together with packaging and application tests, to defined standards in order to prove their suitability and to satisfy product chemistry data requirements and supporting work for regulatory authorities.
8. Interpret experimental data and report results and conclusions obtained both orally and in written form to allow cogent and timely project decisions, regulatory submissions, and accurate information archiving and transfer for future commercial manufacturing activities.
9. Provide technical expertise in formulation technology for agrochemicals, CIB products and develop new form utilizations that enable commercialization.
10. Design and conduct formulation and processing experiments toward optimizing production batch work, lab activity QA/QC, physical properties, and stability of the formulation.
11. Create scalable formulation processes and specifications for product manufacturing.
12. Provide high-quality technical activities and technical formulation.
13. Prepare and deliver reports, SOPs, and technical presentations for project meetings.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Critical knowledge and experience:
1. Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Pesticides/Agrochemicals chemistry must/preferably from reputed universities with strong academic records and excellent communication skills with 1-3 years of industrial experience as a pesticide/agrochemical formulation development chemist is preferred
2. Good experimental skills in the areas of formulation development and Physio -chem testing and handling of equipment used in pesticide/agrochemical formulations
3. Sound understanding of agrochemical formulations/coformulations/fillers
4. IT literate relevant to work
5. Flexible and resourceful to meet assigned targets
