We are seeking a talented and creative 'Video Editor' to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling abilities, and expertise in various video editing software. You will be responsible for editing video footage into compelling and polished final products and collaborating with other team members to bring our projects to life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit video content: Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the project's objectives and brand guidelines.
2. Storytelling: Craft coherent and visually appealing narratives through effective video sequencing, pacing, and transitions.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with other stakeholders to understand project goals and creative vision.
4. Footage management: Organize and manage video footage and assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-organized.
5. Review and revise: Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to meet the project's requirements and deadlines.
6. Technical proficiency: Utilize industry-standard video editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) to enhance video quality and effects.
7. Quality control: Ensure that the final product meets technical specifications and quality standards for various distribution platforms.
8. Stay current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve editing skills and practices.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: At least 1 year of professional video editing experience.
2. Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), strong understanding of video production techniques, and ability to work with different formats and resolutions.
3. Creativity: Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail with a portfolio showcasing previous video projects.
4. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and incorporate feedback.
5. Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
6. Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience, e.g., Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or related field preferred.
