About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide L3 support for AWS environments, addressing complex technical issues and incidents.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues related to AWS services.
3. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS environments.
5. Implement and maintain AWS services.
6. Optimize cloud infrastructure.
7. Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
8. Implement Infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
9. Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other tools.
10. Ensure AWS environments comply with security policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
11. Implement and manage security measures such as encryption, access controls, and network security.
12. Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
13. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS environments, processes, and procedures.
14. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
15. Ensure backup recovery and monthly reporting.

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. The candidate should have AWS certifications such as AWS certified solutions architect – professional, AWS certified DevOps engineer – professional, or similar.

2. The candidate should have experience with DevOps practices and tools.

3. The candidate should know containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

4. The candidate should have experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies.

5. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field.

6. The candidate should have proven experience as an AWS Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on AWS services.

7. The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and solutions and experience with automation and scripting tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

8. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and others.

9. The candidate should have a strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices in AWS.

10. The candidate should have proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

11. The candidate should have experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and others.
