Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain server-side logic for our web applications
2. Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
3. Optimize applications for speed and scalability
4. Design and implement data storage solutions
5. Create reusable, effective, and scalable code
6. Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
7. Stay informed about industry best practices
Skills/Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
2. Proven work experience as a back-end developer
3. Strong knowledge of at least one popular web framework (e.g., Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript frameworks, MongoDB, and SQL)
4. Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
5. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, deployment)
6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Strong team collaboration skills and a desire to brainstorm and problem-solve with a group
Must-have:
1. Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
2. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
4. Experience in system design and database architecture
