About the job

We are seeking a dynamic banquet sales and operations manager to oversee banquet events at our establishment. Responsible for sales, planning, and execution, this role demands exceptional leadership, sales, and organizational skills. The manager will drive sales, manage client relationships, and supervise operational aspects.

Key responsibilities:

A. Sales and business development:

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities
2. Develop and maintain client relationships
3. Create sales proposals and negotiate contracts

B. Event planning and coordination:

1. Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements
2. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events
3. Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded

C. Operational management:

1. Supervise banquet staff, ensuring proper training and scheduling
2. Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events
3. Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment

D. Financial management:

1. Prepare and manage banquet budgets
2. Monitor financial performance against the budget
3. Generate and analyze sales and financial reports

E. Quality control and customer satisfaction:

1. Conduct regular inspections of banquet spaces
2. Gather feedback to evaluate satisfaction levels
3. Address customer complaints promptly

Skill(s) required

CRM English Proficiency (Spoken) Event Management MS-Office Operations Sales

Other requirements

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office

Leadership qualities and ability to manage a diverse team

Knowledge of food and beverage trends and menu planning

Duration: 3 months
Salary during probation: ₹12,000 - 18,000 /month
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,000 - 3,00,000 /year
