Key responsibilities:

1. Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information
2. Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
3. Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
4. Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
5. Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
6. Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
7. Optimize new and current database systems
8. Define security and backup procedures
9. Coordinate with the data science department to identify future needs and requirements
10. Provide operational support for management information systems (MIS)

Proficiency in MS Excel

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3.js, and R)
