BigFix Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. BigFix Deployment and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain BigFix infrastructure, including servers, agents, and relays, to manage endpoints effectively.
2. Patch Management: Develop and execute patch management strategies to ensure the timely and secure deployment of patches and updates across all endpoints.
3. Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards using BigFix to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.
4. Endpoint Management: Manage and troubleshoot endpoints, including Windows and Linux servers and workstations, ensuring their stability and security.
5. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and perform analysis on endpoint data to identify vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and performance trends.
6. Incident Response: Assist in incident response activities, including investigating and remediating security incidents on managed endpoints.
7. Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of BigFix configurations, procedures, and best practices.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of IT security and compliance objectives with broader business goals.


Qualifications:

1. B.E./B.Tech./MCA in Computer Science or I.T
2. Minimum 2-3 years of IT experience, with a minimum 1 year of experience of working on endpoint patch management solutions (any OEM)
3. Hands-on/practical working experience on OEM Patch Management console
