1. Perform blood and bone marrow processing, receipt, release, and return (as per SOP)
2. Assist with the collection of bone marrow in the operating room and operate standard lab equipment required for the processing and characterization of blood-derived products
3. Perform in vitro culture assays under CGMP conditions and demonstrate the use of aseptic technique to perform in vitro cell culture and ex vivo expansion of tissue isolates
4. Ensure professional interaction with clinical staff and the patient population
5. Document patient information, eligibility, chart preparation, and review in an accurate and timely manner
6. Coordinate physician communication as needed to ensure accurate processing of directives
7. Perform quality control procedures for both the equipment and laboratory
8. Successfully participate in a laboratory proficiency program
9. Review collection, processing, and general standard operating procedures including authorship assignments, reviews, and acknowledgments in the database
10. Perform validation procedures with regard to establishment, optimization, and change of SOP and use of equipment and reagents
11. Be responsible for reproducibility and accuracy of data and analyses
12. Assist in the collation of data and report preparation
