Business Analyst Job

We are looking for a Business Analyst to help us build our online-only investment platform, which will enable investors to easily invest in mutual funds from leading fund houses in India, corporate fixed deposits, and various other investment products. Another important activity where business analysts will help us is to keep track of different asset classes and keep them updated in the system. Which will help us to do financial planning for the investor.

Responsible for website content, time-to-time research notes on the market and various asset classes, building financial planning models, presentations for corporate activity, etc. Business analysts work long hours and must be available at any given point in time depending on development in the domestic or global economy.

Key responsibilities:

1. Monitor trends in specific asset classes, and initiate and supervise research on mutual fund schemes or companies in those sectors.
2. Recommend which mutual fund schemes or asset class investors should buy or sell.
3. Provide reliable research that backs up those recommendations, where salespeople advise individual and institutional clients on investments.

Please note:

1. Business analysts start work early, often arriving in the office at 8:30 a.m. to catch up on news related to companies and industries they follow.
2. Working nights and weekends are not uncommon in research. Analysts spend nearly two-thirds of an average day researching schemes and talking to fund managers and investors.
3. They spend the remaining time writing research reports and updating mathematical models that analyze investors/companies' financial data.
