About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop recurring geospatial business opportunities and sales new to Focus GSPL
2. Establish a customer network focused on decision-makers in order to develop business focused on aerial and terrestrial geospatial data collection, analysis, Architectural and GIS services
3. Research, investigate, and produce winning strategies for future contracting opportunities
4. Write proposals, provide ROMs, and develop project scopes
5. Track customer interactions, opportunities and maintain the Database.
6. Manage changes to project scope via change orders and internal/external communications
7. Support business development activities including, but not limited to, representing the company in client meetings and conferences, and by fostering the development of long-term relationships with new and sustained clients, as well as partner companies
8. Provide detailed reports and tracking of leads, opportunities, and closed sales
9. Communicate business development activities and provide weekly report out to VP, Geospatial Technologies
10. Maintain oversight of projects throughout lifecycle to ensure client expectations are met and client experience is positive
11. Assist with marketing and branding efforts by providing input to marketing team and participating in marketing events and webinars
12. Work as part of the business development team to assist in improving and growing the geospatial technology group to help with the success of Focus GSPL as a whole
13. Work closely with the geospatial processing and architectural team to keep up to speed with capabilities and align with customer need

Skill(s) required

ArcGIS AutoCAD Autodesk Revit Business Analysis Business Research English Proficiency (Spoken)

Other requirements

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

2. Excellent customer service and organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking, and reporting

3. A general understanding of how to get from trajectory to deliverable

4. Comfortable using and learning a wide range of LiDAR, Imagery, Photogrammetry, REVIT-BIM, AutoCAD and GIS software

5. Strong technical knowledge to understand client needs, translate into a clear scope of work, and understanding of Focus GSPL workflow and deliverables

6. Ability to work well with a team and independently

7. Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

8. 1+ years of business analyst experience and geospatial sales and marketing can be an advantage.

9. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, or geospatial related degree

10. Demonstrated experience in developing new and recurring geospatial data products and services business

11. Prior experience as a key growth influencer/driver in high-growth professional geospatial solutions

12. A strategic thinker with a keen ability to make recommendations to move the business forward

13. Outstanding communication skills, presence, and energy

14. Must be comfortable with geospatial software applications with the ability to present high-level product solutions

15. Compelling presentation skills

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 5,00,000 /year
