About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Market research: Conduct research to identify potential clients, markets, and industry trends. Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to identify business opportunities
2. Lead generation: Generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, email marketing, networking, and social media. Qualify leads based on established criteria to identify potential clients or customers
3. Client relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction. Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
4. Sales support: Assist in the development of sales strategies and proposals. Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver presentations to potential clients
5. Proposal writing and presentation: Prepare proposals, presentations, and other sales materials to showcase the company's products or services. Deliver effective presentations to clients and stakeholders
6. Negotiation and closing deals: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure business agreements. Close deals and finalize contracts, ensuring mutual satisfaction
7. Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives. Coordinate with internal teams to deliver on client expectations
8. Metrics and reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress, and outcomes
9. Customer feedback and market intelligence: Gather customer feedback to improve products or services. Provide insights and market intelligence to inform decision-making
10. Stay informed about industry trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to make recommendations for business development strategies
11. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build and expand professional relationships. Represent the company at events to promote products or services
