We are looking for an experienced, student counselor who is meticulous in their approach. This is a full-time onsite role for a senior academic counselor based out of Pune. As a senior academic counselor, you will be responsible for providing academic counseling to students.
Key responsibilities:
1. Understand the career requirements of the students and counsel them and their parents (if required) to offer expertise for specific courses of the university.
2. Counsel graduates and working professionals, persons of all age groups about our courses & handle inquiries.
3. Interact with students regularly.
4. Support the students throughout the admission process by answering their queries.
5. Maintain the target metrics by converting potential students into confirmed admissions and succeed in achieving the performance goals.
6. Maintain regular communication with students to coordinate admission activities and resolve problems.
Requirements:
1. Be result-orientated and able to work under pressure to achieve targets.
2. Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as the local language.
3. Strong, presentation and persuasion skills.
4. Report daily, weekly and monthly status.
5. Should be target-oriented and enthusiastic about the role
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Competencies:
1. Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in education counseling/recruitment.
2. Excellent writing and communication skills.
3. Strong networking and counseling skills.
4. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, colleagues, and teams representing diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
5. Experience in designing and implementing academic programs.
6. Proven ability to solve problems and work independently.
7. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 5,00,000 /year
