About the job

As a Senior Business Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities for the company. Working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for expanding our client base, driving revenue growth, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets
2. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential clients
3. Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building
4. Proposal Development: Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs and objectives
5. Negotiation: Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business development efforts with overall company strategies
8. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives and identify areas for improvement
9. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge
10. Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
