About the job

Key Responsibilities:

(a) Market research and analysis:
1. Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes.
2. Analyzing customer needs to inform business strategies.

(b) Lead generation:
1. Generating and qualifying leads through networking, social media, industry events, and cold outreach.
2. Developing a robust pipeline of potential clients.

(c) Client relationship management:
1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Developing strategies for client retention and upselling.

(d) Sales and negotiation:
1. Developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
2. Preparing persuasive proposals and negotiating contracts to secure new business deals.

(e) Strategic planning:
1. Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement growth strategies.
2. Identifying and prioritizing initiatives to expand market reach.

(f) Partnership development:
1. Establishing and nurturing partnerships with businesses, influencers, and stakeholders.
2. Ensuring mutually beneficial long-term relationships.

(g) Project management:
1. Overseeing the implementation of business initiatives from conception to completion.
2. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.

(h) Marketing collaboration:
1. Working with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support business development goals.
2. Enhancing lead generation and brand visibility through targeted marketing efforts.

(i) Reporting and analysis:
1. Tracking and analyzing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business development activities.
2. Preparing reports and presentations for senior management with insights and recommendations.

(j) Budget management:
1. Managing budgets for business development activities, ensuring cost-effective resource use.
2. Monitoring expenses and ROI to optimize spending.

(k) Product and service development:
1. Collaborating with product teams to provide market insights and customer feedback.
2. Assisting in developing and enhancing products and services to meet market demands.

(l) Risk management:
1. Identifying potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
2. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all business dealings.
