Designation: BDM

A Business Development Manager (BDM) in SaaS sales is responsible for driving business growth and managing the sales pipeline. Their duties include :

- Managing the sales pipeline : Prioritizing leads, setting reminders, and maintaining records of engagements

- Developing and launching campaigns : Working with marketing to raise awareness and design campaigns

- Building relationships : Developing relationships with vendor sales teams and potential clients

- Collaborating with the sales team : Coordinating with the sales team to develop selling tools and presenting proposals

- Providing product knowledge : Offering product knowledge and technical expertise to help with sales

- Researching the industry : Researching the business industry to create new opportunities

- Training junior salespeople : Training junior salespeople to help meet sales goals

- Updating sales team : Updating the sales team and dealer network on new software developments

- Suggesting new product concepts : Suggesting new product concepts, enhancements, and potential partnerships
