A business development Executive (BDE) is a person who is liable to grow the business and find prospective clients who can be beneficial for the business in the long run. The business development executive is responsible for finding new targets and leads to promote the services of the business with a strong knowledge of the company s products and services in order to facilitate the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and analyze international markets to identify opportunities, trends, and potential challenges
2. Develop and implement business strategies to enter new markets and expand existing ones
3. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local partners, suppliers, and government Bodies
4. Identify and evaluate new solar projects and investment opportunities
5. Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to attract new customers and retain existing ones
6. Prepare and present business proposals, tenders, and contracts
7. Ensure all projects comply with local and international regulations and standards
8. Develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts for potential projects and partnerships
9. Identify and mitigate risks associated with international projects and business operations
10. Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in the solar industry about products and services and incorporate them into business development strategies
11. Work closely with other departments such as engineering, Admin(operations), Sales, and marketing to ensure cohesive project execution and business growth
12. Track and report on the performance of business development initiatives and projects
Skills/attributes required:
1. Experience with cold calling Specifically Internationally
2. Experience with research and maintaining databases
3. Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
4. Experience in using CRM-Sales Navigator, Zoom info
5. Strong project and time management skills
6. Contact discovery skills to find appropriate prospects
7. Experience in the HQL/BANT, MQL, SQL
8. Responsible for Monthly attendance goals
9. Experience with cold calling
10. Manage sales pipeline
12. Developing a strong pipeline of qualified lead
