Clappia is seeking a motivated and dynamic sales development representative (SDR) to join our team for a full-time position. The primary goal of this role is to identify an individual with the right skill set and potential to excel in sales. The selected candidate will have the opportunity for permanent placement as a sales development representative.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead generation: Identify and research potential leads and prospects using various tools and databases
2. Outreach: Initiate contact with leads via phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce Clappia's products and services
3. Qualification: Qualify leads by assessing their needs, challenges, and budget constraints to determine their suitability as potential customers
4. Appointment setting: Schedule product demonstrations and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads
5. CRM management: Update and maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead information in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
6. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on lead generation and conversion metrics
7. Team collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on target accounts and messaging strategies
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field would be a plus
2. Experience in the SaaS, software, or IT services industry would be a plus
3. A self-driven and results-oriented mindset, highly motivated
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Proficiency in using CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
