We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled 'Cell Culture Specialist' to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and execute advanced cell culture techniques, including the maintenance, expansion, and characterization of cell lines. This role requires expertise in cell biology, hands-on experience with flow cytometry, and familiarity with bioprocessing and tissue engineering techniques. The specialist will contribute to cutting-edge research and therapeutic projects while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, plan, and execute cell culture experiments, including the maintenance and expansion of various cell lines.
2. Perform cell-based assays such as viability, proliferation, and differentiation studies.
3. Utilize flow cytometry for cell analysis and characterization.
4. Develop and optimize cell culture protocols, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
5. Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to the team.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cell culture techniques into broader research initiatives.
7. Maintain laboratory compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
8. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cell culture and flow cytometry technologies and apply them to ongoing research projects.
Qualifications:
1. Master's or PhD in cell biology, biotechnology, molecular biology, or a related field.
2. Proven hands-on experience with cell culture techniques, including the maintenance and expansion of primary and established cell lines.
3. Proficiency in flow cytometry for cell analysis and characterization.
4. Strong understanding of cell biology, tissue engineering, and bioprocessing principles.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
