Civil Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

A site engineer plans, manages, and supervises construction projects. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.

1.Planning
Survey, level, and mark out construction sites
Analyze plans, drawings, and other data to plan construction activities
Prepare technical drawings and construction layouts

2.Construction
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials
Ensure that materials and work are in accordance with specifications
Supervise construction workers and subcontractors

3.Manage site facilities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
Implement health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment

4. Project management
Manage the project within budget and time constraints
Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders
Monitor construction progress
Communicate with clients and their representatives
Create and present project reports

5. Technical advice
Provide technical advice to subcontractors and other professionals
Diagnose and resolve technical difficulties
Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
