This position is responsible for providing civil engineering expertise during the erection phase of wind energy projects. The 'Civil Engineer' will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of wind turbines by overseeing foundation construction, crane operations, and overall site safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect the construction of wind turbine foundations to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
2. Verify the accuracy of foundation dimensions and elevations.
3. Monitor concrete pouring and curing processes.
4. Coordinate and supervise crane operations during the erection of wind turbine components.
5. Ensure safe and efficient lifting and placement of all components.
6. Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures at the project site.
7. Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
8. Investigate and report any safety incidents.
9. Monitor and ensure the quality of all civil works related to wind turbine erection.
10. Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure project compliance.
11. Troubleshoot and resolve any civil engineering-related problems that may arise during erection.
12. Maintain accurate records of all civil engineering activities, including inspections, tests, and any deviations from the plan.
13. Cube test and Batching Plant knowledge.
14. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Location: Ilkal, Karnataka
Preference: Experienced in Wind Energy
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Bachelor's/master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
2. 1-3+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong preference for experience in wind energy projects.
3. Proven experience in foundation construction, crane operations, and site safety management.
4. Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and soil mechanics.
5. Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations.
