Job Title: Solar Service Engineer

As a Solar Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing solar power systems to ensure their optimal performance. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform regular inspections, conduct preventive maintenance, and provide technical support to clients. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of solar installations and help promote renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities:

1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on solar power systems
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, such as wiring problems, component failures, or performance inefficiencies
3. Repair or replace faulty components, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring
4. Ensure compliance with safety standards during maintenance and repair activities
5. Monitor and analyze the performance of solar power systems to identify deviations or underperformance
6. Identify and resolve performance issues, such as shading, system losses, or electrical inefficiencies
7. Respond to service requests and inquiries from clients in a timely and professional manner
8. Provide technical guidance and support to clients regarding system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
9. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance reports, repair logs, and customer communications
10. Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and repairs
11. Document all service and maintenance activities, including parts used, work performed, and time spent
12. Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders to track system performance and identify areas for improvement
