1. Client communication & support:
a. Serve as the first point of contact for clients with general inquiries regarding transport services.
b. Respond to client requests via phone, email, or in-person in a professional and timely manner.
c. Assist in managing customer expectations and provide updates on the status of shipments or services.
2. Coordination with internal teams:
a. Collaborate with the operations, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure that client needs are met effectively and efficiently.
b. Assist in tracking shipments, deliveries, and resolving minor delays or issues under the guidance of senior team members.
3. Data entry & reporting:
a. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, requests, and inquiries in the CRM or other company systems.
b. Prepare basic reports on service performance or client satisfaction to support senior staff in monitoring client relationships.
4. Problem resolution:
a. Assist in resolving client complaints or service disruptions, escalating issues to senior staff when necessary.
b. Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure a satisfactory resolution and maintain customer satisfaction.
5. Administrative support:
a. Provide general administrative support to the Client Servicing team, including managing client documentation, updating transport schedules, and preparing client-facing correspondence.
b. Assist with invoicing processes by ensuring that billing details are accurate and up-to-date.
6. Customer satisfaction:
a. Help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt, accurate, and friendly service.
b. Take note of customer feedback and relay it to senior management for continuous improvement.
7. Learning & development:
a. Continuously learn about company services, processes, and the transport industry to better serve clients.
b. Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to client servicing and transport logistics.
