Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer who has knowledge or hands-on experience supporting Linux, AWS, cPanel or Plesk, WHM, WordPress, or Magento application-hosted cloud servers. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring less recurrence of the issues with smooth and efficient operation of their systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support for Linux, Windows-based Cloud, Dedicated, and AWS infrastructure.
2. Manage and troubleshoot server-level issues, and provide RCAs without one-time fixtures. Our philosophy is to solve problems at their root.
3. Provide support for WordPress and Magento-related issues, such as installation, configuration, and optimization.
4. Monitor server performance and implement necessary updates and patches.
5. Respond to customer inquiries and issues via email, phone, and support tickets meeting the defined SLA.
6. Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of new services.
7. Perform regular backups, security checks, and system audits to maintain system integrity and security.
8. Document support processes and solutions to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience in Linux system administration is a must.
3. Knowledge of AWS services and Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
4. Proficiency with cPanel, Plesk, and Virtualmin.
5. Knowledge of virtualization is a must.
6. An understanding of WordPress and Magento, including troubleshooting and performance optimization, is a plus, but not a requirement.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues with an aim to automate them You are an automation nerd.
8. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is a must-have.
