CNC/VMC Operator Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC machines (VMC and Turning Centres) for production, including loading raw materials and selecting appropriate tools.
2. Operation: Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
3. Programming: Input and adjust machine settings and programs to ensure accurate production of components.
4. Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
5. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor issues.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Technical Drawings: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
